Court orders de-freezing of Rhea Chakraborty’s ledgers

A year after entertainer Rhea Chakraborty’s ledgers were frozen by the Opiates Control Agency (NCB) regarding a medications argument against her, an Uncommon NDPS Court in Mumbai permitted de-freezing of the records subject to specific conditions.

Rhea Chakraborty had been captured by the NCB on September 8, 2020 in a medication argument enlisted against her after the examination concerning the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB later froze the entertainer’s ledgers and fixed stores (FDs) by a notification dated September 16, 2020. She was delivered on bail a month after the fact. The request states, “Presently, there is no solid complaint from the respondent side to defreeze the said accounts. In such conditions, the candidate/blamed is entitled for de-freezing the said financial balances and FDs subject to conditions and undertaking upheld by a Testimony expressing that during the pendency and finish of the preliminary of the case, she will make the equilibrium sum, as displayed in the concerned record as on 16/09/2020, accessible for passing important orders, as and when required.” When Rhea gives an endeavor to keep up with the equilibrium, the NCB will defreeze the records.

The court likewise permitted one more application by Rhea, returning her the PC that had been seized by the NCB after the office didn’t take issue with it.
