Premam Poojyam enters a neglected area

Heartfelt Kannada film Premam Poojyam is the main Indian film to be shot in Vietnam. The film, featuring Prem and Brinda Acharya in lead jobs, is set to deliver one week from now and vows to be a visual treat, particularly the shots from the stylish areas of Vietnam.

Cinematographer Naveen Kumar says, “The difficulties I needed to confront while shooting in Vietnam were light as the sloping areas where we should shoot were totally covered with fog. We some way or another figured out how to play with the light and caught it flawlessly. We likewise took shots at cascades in Móng Cái, situated at the China-Vietnam line, a neglected domain for movie producers.”

Around 60 individuals visited Vietnam for the shoot, says Naveen. “There were no flights associating specific areas, so we needed to go around 600 km by street which was a difficult undertaking. As the climate was moderate, it assisted us with remaining revived and enthusiastic.”

The story follows the hero’s excursion since his school days. The scenes get across uneven areas like Ooty, Kanyakumari and the Himalayas to mirror the progression of the story.
